Some campaigns include a text messaging component. To use the text messaging feature in a campaign, ensure the following steps are completed:

  1. Active Convos Account

    • You must have an active Convos account connected to your Campaigns account.
    • If you do not have a Convos account, you can learn more and sign up here: https://snappykraken.com/convos.
    • Only contacts with a valid phone number will receive text messages.
      • They will be created as contacts within Convos.
      • If the contact has not opted in, your Convos settings will define if an opt-in message is sent before the campaign text step is sent. 
  2. Choosing a Campaign with Text Messaging

    • Preview campaigns to find one that includes a text messaging step.
    • Most "Visual Insights" campaigns contain a Text Message step.
  3. Enabling and Personalizing the Text Message Step

    • Select your desired campaign and personalize it as needed.
    • Scroll to the Text Message step and enable it.
    • Once enabled, you can edit the message.
      • Tip: The default text often includes placeholders (e.g., First Name) or links to landing pages. Only modify this text if necessary.
  4. Finalizing and Sending Your Campaign

    • After enabling and customizing the Text Message step, ensure you have personalized the other campaign steps.
    • Assign your subscribers and send the campaign.
