Connecting Practifi with your Snappy account

  1. Select integrations on the left-hand side menu bar.
  2. On the Integrations page, Find Practifi and select "+ Connect".
  3.  Wait for the connection to load, once loaded you will see the Practifi login page. 
  4. Enter your Practifi Login credentials onto this page as if you were logging into Practifi normally.
  5. Once connected, you should be rerouted back to the integrations page and Practifi will show as Connected.

Managing your Practifi integration using Snappy Kraken Audiences

Your Practifi integration with Snappy Kraken will allow you to import and sync contacts to and from Snappy Kraken campaigns. One of the groups that will be used for this integration are labeled as "Snappy Kraken Audiences" and should be visible in the toolbar in Practifi. If you have existing audiences those will already be visible in Snappy Kraken as long as they are active. If this is not available please scroll down to the "Managing your Practifi integration using Campaigns" section.

  1. To get started, select the "Snappy Kraken Audiences" toolbar dropdown and select "New Snappy Kraken Audience".
  2. Label your audience using a name that describes its members. 
  3. Select "is Active" below the name field and click save. (If "Is active" is not selected, you will not see the group in your campaigns integration)
  4. Now that you have successfully created your Audience, the next step is to add members.

Audiences can also be created by syncing existing Snappy Kraken groups into Practifi. To learn more, go to the "Setting up nightly imports and sync" section.


Adding Members to your Audiences

Since each setup of Practifi can vary significantly, it is best to contact the Practifi administrator at your firm or broker-dealer for assistance.


Managing your Practifi integration using Campaigns

If you have campaigns in Practifi, you can choose to use those instead of creating Audiences. They should automatically be visible in snappy krakens integration when you go to sync or import. If you need to create new campaigns, please follow the instructions below.

  1. find the campaigns tab in the Practifi toolbar and click on it. 
  2. Create a new campaign by clicking "NEW"
  3. Add a name to your campaign and set it active. The rest of the settings are optional.
  4. After saving the campaign you can go to the campaign list and click on the campaign. On the campaign details page you will have the ability to add contacts to the campaign under the campaign members toolbar. These steps may vary based on your Practifi configuration, if you have any issues it is best to reach out to your Practifi administrator.

Setting up nightly imports and sync

To set up the nightly import function, you will need to access the Practifi details page.

This can be accessed by going to Integrations > Practifi > Details.

Once on the details page you will have the option of setting up nightly import or nightly sync.

  • Automatic Nightly sync: This option will import contacts between Snappy Kraken and Practifi bi-directionally. It will also create new Audience groups in Practifi if you are importing existing groups from Snappy that do not exist in Practifi.
  • Automatic Nightly Import: This will only import contacts from Practifi into Snappy and will not update or add any contacts or groups into Practifi.
  1. Choose which option you would prefer to use and click on the blue text to select the groups.
  2. Now you will be prompted to select which groups you would like to sync or import. Select the groups and click save.
  3. Now you will need to select the toggle switch to turn on the night import or sync. (Please note that only one option for import or sync can be enabled at a time)
  4. Now your Nightly import or sync is setup. You should see that your Practifi audiences are now importing into your Snappy Kraken account every night.
