Adding images to your emails can make your message more engaging and visually appealing. Follow the steps below to insert and optimize images in your email.
Step 1. Edit Your Email
- Begin by opening the email you’d like to edit.
- On the right-hand side, you’ll see the editor menu.
- Click the top-right icon featuring a triangle, square, and circle.
Step 2. Insert an Image Block
- In the content blocks menu, locate the Image option.
- Drag and drop the image block into your email.
- Place it wherever you'd like the image to appear.
Once the image block is placed, you’re ready to add your image.
Step 3. Add Your Image
With the image block selected, the right-hand menu will show upload options:
- Upload an image from your device.
- Or paste an external image URL (e.g., hosted on your website).
Note: Avoid using image URLs copied from search engines, as these links often expire or restrict access, preventing images from displaying properly in emails.
Step 4. Edit the Image
Once the image is added:
- Adjust the maximum width using the right-hand panel.
- Click the pencil icons below the image to access advanced editing tools.
Common tools in this menu include: Filter, Crop, Resize, Draw, Text, Frame, and Merge
⚠️ If your image is wider than 800 pixels, we recommend using the Resize tool to reduce the size. Oversized images may not render correctly in all email clients.
Image Best Practices
To ensure your image displays correctly in all inboxes:
- Keep the width under 800 pixels. Larger images may appear cropped, rotated, or distorted.
- Use compressed JPGs. Large image files can cause emails to load slowly or require recipients to open them in a separate window.
- Aim for JPEG images under a few hundred kilobytes in size.
- Resize images using tools like Windows Photo Viewer or other image editors before uploading.
Following these steps will help ensure your images display cleanly and professionally across all email platforms.
