How Resuming Works
- Campaigns resume in the same timeline: If a contact received emails 1 and 2, and was 5 days away from receiving email 3 when the campaign was stopped, they will receive email 3 five days after you resume the campaign.
- No duplicate emails are sent: Contacts who have already received emails will not receive them again. The campaign picks up where it left off for each individual contact.
- No automatic posting or sending: When you resume a campaign, nothing will be sent or posted automatically until the scheduled timeline triggers the next step.
Steps to Resume a Campaign
- Go to My Campaigns in the left-hand side menu.
- Find the stopped campaign you want to resume.
- Click the three dots icon beside the campaign.
- Select the option to resume or relaunch the campaign.
- The campaign will continue sending emails and posting social content according to its original schedule.
Checking Campaign Status
In the campaign editing timeline, you can see:
- Active/sending steps: These are currently being sent to contacts
- Pending steps: These are scheduled to be sent in the future
This helps you understand exactly where each contact is in the campaign sequence.
Important Notes
- Resuming a campaign does not require you to reschedule emails or social posts manually.
- The campaign automatically continues based on where each contact was in the sequence when it was stopped.
- You can review the campaign timeline before resuming to ensure everything is set up as intended.
